I procastinated updating my Friendica server for a while because I expected it to be some work, but then I discovered that there is a button in the admin panel that just needs to be clicked once and I'm done... that's great!
Do you pull from master? If so, is this stable enough? I only dare to install versions that are tagged, but that way I have to wait a long time before I can test all the new features...
I set the cronjob to run a backup then do it's pull. That way even if something does go horribly wrong, it's no big deal.
I've not been with Friendica very long, but even so, Mike is one the best developers I've ever had the fortune to come across. I'm confident problems will be very few and far between.
